For new manufacture of rifles of infantry 1842, one can quote thefollowing Belgian arms manufacturers:

Beuret Brother, Liege.

Francotte, Liege.

With regard to the modifications, I think that the weapons were manufactured new by various Swiss arms manufacturers, Belgian and French, but that the modifications were carried out only by the Swiss arms manufacturers with knowing:

For the small gauges: 10,4mm    For the large gauges: 18mm
